Spa Resort Fonte Alla Lepre

It was breathtaking place, wonderful! The staff is very kindly and helpful. I think, this is an estate. The rooms are spacious, but a bit shabby, but the bed is very comfortable, the breakfast is various.

We are happy with the room which is spacious and the garden which has breathtaking view. It would be great if basic toiletries are provided. We found no soap or hand wash in the room and had to go to reception to get it (there is no telephone in the room so you will have to walk to reception if you need anything). Spa is not fully operating when we visited - they said massage service is only available during summer and the mini spa pool was out of order. Sauna and steam were still available though. Breakfast at the restaurant is lovely - the variety is good enough and it’s nice to take the coffee out to the pool side and enjoy the sun. There are also plenty of good restaurants within 15-20 mins drive in this area. We hope to come back in warmer season to swim, enjoy the spa and have barbecue in the garden.

Be aware this is not a Hotel although it is advertised as such. The appartments are not serviced (no cleaning, no amenities, etc) and very little support is provided. They also charged us for the swimming pool towels, 4€ each. The facilities are fine but we met some guests that were being disrespectful to the others on the pool by playing loud music and making a mess and there was no staff around to manage the situation. The location is nice and the breakfast was good but overall it was not the experience we expected. Sorry for the harsh review but I’m just trying to help other travellers know what they are getting into. Nothing in the review is false or bad intentioned and I stated my opinion to the receptionist after the checkout. She seemed to take it much better than the owners.
