Spa & Wellness Hotel Olympia

Very happy with everything here! Friendly staff, rooms and amenities seams all new. Wellness very good also, they have a huge offer of treatments and massages. Restaurant, food very good and diverse breakfast. Location is top! Right near the kolonada and restaurants On top of that we’re very happy is pet friendly 💜

We were in this hotel for 3 days. The room was clean and everything worked. The hotel is not in the first row, 150-200 meters from the central park, but it does not bother. We took a room for two with one large bed. The room seemed small, the bathroom was also small. For the size of the room, I would say, the room was a bit pricey. For the same money in hotels of about the same price category, we had a slightly larger room and a more varied breakfast. Regarding breakfast: everything was delicious, but there was not much variety. In hotels of about the same price category, for example, Excelsior, Hvezda, Maria Spa, and of course higher such Centralni or Nove Lazne, the breakfast was much more varied.

This was a very dissapointing experience. We went for a spa weekend to relax and enjoy, instead we were completely exhausted by the poor hotel facilities. The air conditioning in the room wasn’t working at all, so we couldn’t sleep properly as the weather was very hot and the air stiff. Swimming pool can accommodate maximum 5 people at once, there was more than 100 guests in the hotel at that moment. People had to wait until someone leaves the pool. Also no one cares about comfort and safety of guests in spa, if someone’s crazy teenage kids are jumping on your head, that’s okay, the stuff will not say anything, even though it’s unsafe behavior in a small pool. Breakfast was another major failure. There was stale bread for breakfast in a 4* hotel. Also the restaurant is understaffed, tables were not cleaned timely, food leftovers lying on the floor. 2 waitresses are not enough to serve breakfast to such amount of guests. Some guests were woken up by the alarm that suddenly went on early in the morning. Receptionist was unpleasant when we arrived. She informed us that she doesn’t have time for us as she needs to have lunch so we can just give our IDs to her and go do smth else. The only good thing about the hotel is the location but it’s poorly maintained and sad to see.
