We had a great, luxurious and relaxing stay at the Span Resort & Span, Manali. We recently attended a friend's wedding here it was super fun. The views are great from the resort. The rooms are spacious with all possible amenities and are very comfortable. It is next to the river Beas with stunning views of the ice caped mountains and lush green trees. There are lots of birds here and the mornings are beautiful. The food is also good. The resort is very spacious and one has lots of activities to do here. A must visit and a recommended property to stay whenever in Manali. The staff is also very polite and helpful.

Visited the place in june for 3 nights. Had an excellent experience. The place is located by the beas river and the sound of flowing water is a treat to ears. The food served was good . The hospitality and agility of staff is worth applaud. The recreation area kept the kids busy...though cycles were not in a working condition. The reception people were welcoming and helpful. So overall great experience. Will want to visit again.

We stayed at Span Resort & Spa, Manali for 2 days and honestly, the pricing does not justify the experience. While the location along the Beas River is beautiful and the rooms are clean and well-maintained, the overall resort felt empty, outdated, and lacked energy. There were hardly any guests, and most of the common areas, including the Glasshouse restaurant, were closed without any clear reason. For a property in this price range, we expected a vibrant atmosphere, engaging activities, and well-managed services — none of which were delivered. Food was below average, both in taste and variety, and the dining area was poorly staffed. We had to request refills constantly, and some utensils were left dirty on tables without anyone attending to them. At check-in, there was no welcome drink or warm greeting, and even the room service staff seemed disengaged. The only positives were the view and the courteous nature of the staff. But overall, the resort feels like it's running on autopilot, with very little effort to match the premium rates they charge. If you're expecting a luxury experience for the price, this may not be the right choice. There are better resorts in Manali offering more value, better food, and a livelier vibe.
