The place is nice and clean. I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. Sparks Life Jakarta is very good compared to other hotels in Jakarta. The service and cleanliness are excellent. I really like this hotel.

Usually I would not talk about the bad but greed makes me very angry. 1. Some of the rooms have a problem with the AC not working well. Good Luck. 2. Some of the shower heads are in desperate need of repair. The water will fly everywhere and the floor will be soaked. 3. The intermet is spotty and you really have to get lucky to get a room with strong clear internet. 4. Some of the staff are fake nice and you can clearly tell they do not like foreigners. 5. The gym area is pretty unusable and old. 6. The pool was some unclean scum parts. 7. The breakfast is definately not worth $10. Go across the road and get Luminor breakfast buffet, for $6. 8. The staff asked me to pay 50% extra to move in my room 3 hours early and they do not have a large bed that is non-smoking like I ordered on Agoda. 9. The carpet in the hotel is pretty filthy. 10. With all these problems it is no wonder.the can only charge $19 for there rooms. 11. Find some new management, fix the problems and get rid of the bad staff.
