Spice Ella

Had a late night meal with family. Very nice atmosphere thematic Sri Lankan taste location was fantastic which is in the hub. Service was excellent too. Friendly staff and helpful. When some other restaurants said No Spice Ella offered to serve late night dinner.

An underrated place to come! It looked very quiet with loud music, but the owner came over, was very attentive, gave us advice on food and swapped my wine for a rum and offered to open a new bottle. When music got loud he controlled this and made the atmosphere great. The food is DELICIOUS!!!! It is a shame there are previous bad reviews, perhaps some more fine tuning into those complaints and you’d have the perfect place for food, drinks and pool!

ABSOLUTELY AVOID THIS PLACE, ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE TRAVELLING WITH FAMILY. My experience here was a complete nightmare. We booked this hotel through Agoda, received a booking confirmation, and had funds held on our card. When we arrived at the hotel with my wife and our one-year-old daughter, the manager simply told us our reservation was cancelled and the hotel was full. No apology, no help, no alternative. We were left completely stranded. The main reason we chose this hotel was the 4-STAR RATING shown on Google Maps. This is a total lie. The reality is this place wouldn't even qualify for one star. There is NO Air Conditioning (AC). There is NO Swimming Pool. When I confronted the manager about this, he actually admitted that the hotel has no official star rating. This business is using a fake 4-star rating on Google to deceive customers into booking. They are unreliable, unprofessional, and their listing is fraudulent. Do not make the same mistake we did. This hotel will take your booking and has no problem leaving you and your family on the street. If I could give zero stars, I would.
