Spinnaker

Camping in april. Pitches in shadow, clean toilets, helpful receptionist. 150m to the sandy beach, nothing special but clean. Small market.

Great location, but despite reputation a mediocre camping. Staff at the reception very friendly and nice. I stayed in one of mobile homes which was not well maintained, not really clean, was also outdated. Luckily towels and linens were included which in some case might not be. Kitchen was also lacking some utensils( cutting knife, bowls,, …) I was there beginning May, out of season, so pool they have was not on my list. But mostly negative: in 21st century there is no wi-fi option.

Leaving early tomorrow. Had not expected that a kids animation program could be so intrusive: it lasted every night until at least midnight, with loud volume unavoidable throughout the entire camping. Complaints with reception and management did not help. Looking back, perhaps we should have read earlier reviews better, telling us the same. The location and the facilities, the staff and the nearby town of Torre Grande, and perhaps also guests looking for some rest, all deserve much better. If you still want to 'enjoy' this camping, please be sure to bring high volumes of repellent, as mosquitoes (day and night!?) and ants are your biggest enemies here.
