Fabulous hotel with great views. The service was exceptional and welcoming. We arrived on bikes, which was no problem at all. Our bikes had a secure storage room in the car park which was great for us. Lovely place to stay while visiting Bilbao.
Our stay at the Gran Bilbao hotel was amazing.! The front desk staff is so helpful. They gave us a complimentary upgrade, we were 4 people. The beds were comfortable, the shower was great. The room was decorated in a modern style and the view of the city was great breathtaking. Parking was easy. The breakfast buffet very complete. They have a little bar beside reception with a great selection of wines. Our restaurant experience with the hotel was 5/5 !
The hotel doesn't have room service or fridge so it is difficult to keep beverages cool if we stayed in the hotel. The reception was always overwhelmed or understaffed and the walls were paper thin. Besides these experiences, the bartenders were super nice, and also the hotel has a gym decently equiped with workout machines and weights. The location is 10-15 minutes tops from the old town and is easy to walk to.
