Splendid Etoile Hotel

Hôtel Splendid Étoile is a solid choice if you’re looking to stay in Paris with a prime view of the Arc de Triomphe. The location is excellent—right near Champs-Élysées and easy access to the metro. The rooms are a bit on the smaller side (as expected in Paris), but they’re clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. The balcony views are definitely a highlight. Staff were generally polite and helpful, and the hotel had a charming, classic Parisian feel. Not bad at all for a 4-star hotel—a reliable and elegant option for anyone wanting to stay in the heart of the city.

Great rooms. Spacious, clean, well equipped. Good air conditioning, curtains kept the room nice and dark. Good location for metro, champs Elysee, arc de triomphe etc My only concern was for the reception/ concierge staff. They recommended the restaurant over the road to us which was terrible. Got a feeling they did that as a favour to the restaurant. Also, one night I came back in a taxi. The taxi driver refused to take my credit card. I went to reception explained the situation asking them for help. They basically shrugged their shoulders and said not their problem. I went out myself and told the driver I had no cash and he pulled out a card machine. Basically trying to get cash from me and picked on me as a tourist Would have loved to have the hotel have my back but definitely wasn't the case

Our stay at Hotel Splendid Etoile was wonderful. The staff are professional and friendly. Our lack of the French language was never a problem. One word of warning, bring ear plugs to sleep. There is a discotheque that closes at 4:00 am. The party moves into the street just below the guest rooms. These partygoers are loud!! The hotel management is well aware, but what can they do? Even with the party people, I highly recommend this beautiful hotel.
