Splendid Hotel

I am writing to highly recommend the Hotel in Ouagadougou. I recently visited there and had a very positive experience overall. I would recommend this hotel to other travelers visiting the city. One of the hotel's strongest assets is its excellent location in the heart of Ouagadougou. It made it incredibly easy to access various attractions, restaurants, and businesses in the city. I was particularly impressed with the hotel Gym, Swimming Pool, Rooms, Restaurant, Bar, Staff Behavior. Overall, I found the Hotel to be a comfortable, convenient, and enjoyable place to stay in Ouagadougou. I would not hesitate to recommend it.

Caution ⛔️ to everyone this Splendid Hotel in Ouagadougou, Burkina, please and please don’t go, it’s very dangerous hotel, it’s worst hotel that I have ever been. Saturday Monday 16-11-24 around 7:45am, I went to the swim pool, I came back to the my room 8:15am, when I came to the room, the cleans were there, I didn’t lock my bags and all of them were unlock, as soon as I entered the room, I checked my backpack, my $500 dollar was gone. I asked him, and he said that he didn’t see, also his supervisor wasn’t far, she entered and she tried to confuse me. I called the boss of security, I asked him to check the CCTV, so if he went out when he entered the room, then we can track where he went, the head of security told me the camera is not working. It’s very sad, why he entered my room while all clothes were in the top of the bed, and they saw me while I was in the pool. Second, the breakfast is horrible, Gym is very dirty, the room smells very bad, room 125 that they gave me, I couldn’t locked inside while I was in the room night. But the customer service weren’t bad, the shuttle driver was very nice and polite driver.. I recommend you not to go

Re reviewed again recently - This hotel has lost what is called service industry. It is not worth what they are charging. The rooms are now pathetic with almost nil occupancy, rates are high and I think it should match what they are asking from guest. Staff does not care for customer service as staff is also amateur. Avoid staying here.
