Splendido Resort Apartments

We booked a stay at Splendido for two nights, and were informed that the room we were meant to be staying in was still under renovation so wasn’t available for us to stay in. However, the hotel manager went out of his way to accommodate us and gave us an upgrade to a luxury apartment for one of the nights. The apartments we stayed in were both spacious and clean, absolutely no complaints. Would reccomend for good value, great location and helpful staff!

DONT STAY This place is absolutely appalling, from a 2inch thick matress topper ontop of springs, to stains all over the carpets to filthy walls and everything in between. The the soap scum on the shower screens and the streaks all over the bathroom tiles. This place would not pass a health and safety inspection and definitely wouldn't be up to minimum standard. The management of this place need to up there standards of who they let buy and rent out these apartments and hold themselves responsible for the appalling condition as after all its there name on the face of it.

I recently stayed at this hotel, and it was one of the worst experiences I've ever had. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that cleanliness and maintenance were not priorities here. First off, the front door was covered in spider webs, making a terrible first impression. It was clear that basic upkeep was neglected. As I entered the lobby, I was hit by a stench of feces, which was absolutely nauseating and left me questioning my decision to stay there. When I got to my room, the situation didn't improve. The bed was harder than the floor, offering zero comfort. To make matters worse, there were stains everywhere: on the carpet, the walls, and even the furniture. Speaking of furniture, none of it matched, creating a chaotic and unappealing atmosphere. The walls had several holes, giving the room a run-down and neglected feel. The bathroom was equally disappointing, stocked with the cheapest, thinnest ply toilet paper. To top it all off, there was a disgusting poo stain on the carpet, which was beyond unacceptable. I strongly advise against staying at this hotel. The overall condition is appalling, and it seems the management has completely given up on maintaining even basic standards of hygiene and comfort. Do yourself a favour and find another place to stay.
