Very nice hotel. As it was 20 years ago when we first visited. I would prefer tennis to be included, and some facilities like bikes to use or a gym (it is advertised as a sport hotel!). Also a few more serving staff on duty at mealtimes would be appreciated but those that are there are very nice and helpful.
Fantastic location and one of the biggest pools in the area - 25m long, great for swimming! There's also 5 tennis courts but not all are kept clean. Great bar for drinks and snacks, food was good and staff was friendly & helpful. The one thing that was unfortunately a disappointment is the room & bathroom. I really like a vintage style where nothing seems to have changed since the hotel was built. But the couch, bed and facilities such as the shower desperately need to be replaced. A coat of paint would be good too. Hopefully these things can be taken care of after a good season this summer 😉 Grazie!
Nice hotel, friendly staff. Rooms dated but big enough, small balcony. Pool is big/clean and quiet with plenty of sun beds. Food is very pleasant. If you're after an amazing experience then this is not it.. But if you're after a good friendly place to stay/sleep/eat at a reasonable price while you explore lake Garda then this could be for you. The town is DOWN hill and takes no more than 8 mins (a little longer coming up) where there are plenty of local restaurants, some by the lake. A lovely market and shops galore. There's also a ferry terminal so you can shoot around the lake and a bus terminal, the bus system is great. So for me the Sport Hotel Olimpo was a good choice.
