Sport und Tagungshotel De Poort

Very clean hotel! We stayed only one night with my family. We didnt have time for swimming pool and sauna. Friendly personal, good location en big rooms. The breakfast was good.

Used to probably be a very nice hotel now it’s still nice but a little run down. We had a huge room and bathroom with bathtub which we loved and the baby bed was prepared when we arrived! We also liked that our room was a little farther away from the other guests since kids can get noisy sometimes. Breakfast was good, the waitress very nice. A little inconvenient that most tables were reserved for a soccer team and regular guests just kind of had to try and find an open table left on the side. For a four star ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️ I would have expected an elevator or some help with the luggage (we were on the 4th floor!!) as well as more than about 10 TV channels none of them in at least English.

I stayed today from 05/09/24 to 06/09/24 in room #109. I just came to spend one night on behalf of the company, I really don't know where to start my assessment, because, starting with the incredibly bad behaviour from hotel reception,i quote, arriving at the hotel, 3 rooms were reserved in which two of my colleagues are German and I am Portuguese, I don't understand German, I spoke in English, giving my identity so they could try to find my reservation, they even laughed in my face at jokes in bad taste. It is unacceptable that reception does not solve quickly the problems. Before they gave me a clean room, I can't complain, I go through the corridor, as shown in the images, the open ceiling with buckets on the floor, without any internet access, trying countless times to access it and without success, we tried calling reception and without success either, and one thing is the little bugs you need to kill in your bed, like you have on the fotos..what to expect for a 4* hotel... we cannot give 0 or -1 as that would be the qualification, or just qualify as a 2* or 3* hotel.
