Sporthotel Fontana

We really enjoyed our stay there. Thanks to all staff who make this place so wonderful. Big thanks to Simona, George, Andreas. Ski in, ski out location. Excellent breakfast and supper. Rooms for four persons are comfortable enough, although not too big. Nice gym sauna and pool. Very convenient ski shelter in the basement. What else do you need for a nice ski vacation?!

Large hotel with friendly staff right on the slopes. The lift up the mountain is just a few steps from the backdoor of the hotel. Some of the rooms are a bit dated but they are large and warm and had everything we needed. We stayed here twice already and I'm sure we will stay here again.

A tourist factory at the bottom of the piste, squeezing the last out of this worn down hotel in the autumn of its lifespan. Pro's: Friendly attent staff, quick service, good clean rooms, hot high pressure shower. The bar is modern and has great panoramic view on piste. Same to say about the gazebostyle add-on of the diningfacility Complete continental breakfast, entrance to the piste and heated storage of ski's and gear. Points to improve: Diner consists of mediocre meals, daily 3 choices of dishes in meat, fish or vega, which we experienced as bland and overcooked, with high carbo content. The lobby and dining facility are uncomfortably warm and the swimmingpool is cold. Although clean, the room interior is quite 80's. Not vintage, just old.
