Sporthotel Leweck

I stayed at Sporthotel Leweck for two nights during a business trip and was absolutely impressed. It’s a beautiful hotel with outstanding staff who made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The breakfast was excellent with a great variety of fresh options, and the wellness area is top-notch – the perfect place to unwind after a long day. A special bonus: the neighboring alpacas! Just watching them is like natural antidepressants. And the house dog adds even more charm to the whole experience. Highly recommended – I’ll definitely be back!

Overall, this was quite disappointing. Room was okay, big and spacious but the bedding is really not up to par - thin mattress, extremely flimsy pillow (and only one). Also a clear lack of equipment - not even a kettle in the room? (Also, where are the evacuation instructions in the room?) Welcome was also not very nice. Felt almost like we were bothering - no instructions on anything (what can you do in the region? What times does the swimming pool open? How do you book the spa? What time should you check out?) Safety wise, clearly something should be done here! Parking is on the other side of the road - people drive fast here and there is 0 visibility. Having a walkway should definitely be in the works. We tried the restaurant a couple of times, very expensive for what it is. The food is not particularly tasty so wouldn’t recommend. Cocktails were good though. Breakfast was also nothing to take note of - not much, and not very good. Swimming pool is okay but it’s small so you won’t be doing much actual swimming. The area gets quite busy pretty fast so that’s also a bit of a pity. Overall, the amenities are not bad, a nice mix of old and new, great views and a lot of potential. However, it is very much dampened by an overall feeling of not being welcome and feeling treated like you are disposable. There is a lot to improve to justify such prices to customers.

We had a meeting here between former classmates. Booked an all-inclusive service (3 course menu & drinks (alcool & soft) included to be consumed from 5 pm till midnight. When I arrived with another person at 7pm, we needed to go to the bar and ask to get something to drink, because they didn’t serve us. After sitting at the table to eat, we also needed constantly to ask to get the empty water bottles refilled. We had 3 different starters to choose from. I took the carpaccio with « feierstengszalot », well the « feierstengszalot » was never served!!! We were 3 to be lactose-intolerant and 1 gluten-intolerant. When we got the dessert, we asked to get the dessert without vanilla icecream. The waiter answered us in a very severe unfriendly even rude tone « est-ce que vous avez mangé le risotto???» « bein, alors vous avez tous mangé des menus avec lactose!!! » 😳😳😳😳 After having finished eating dessert we wanted to get drinks. All the waiters just ignored us. They even took the wine bottles that weren’t empty away. So we asked to get drinks served, the answer of the same waiter « vous voulez boire encore??? » We still needed to wait… after 10 minutes they told us that we need first to move to the bar before being served. So we moved to the bar at 23:30. At 23:50 a waiter condescended to serve us! Nobody consumed veb for 2/3 of the price we paid (food included). So it was just a big rip-off. Never again…
