Spent 5 nights in Sporthotel Olymp and enjoyed it a lot. The room was clean, tidy and spacious. Daily housekeeping did the job very well. A perfect room for ski holiday as it's customized and designed for what a skier need - big wardrobe for gear and sauna in the bathroom was so great for relaxing after a long ski day. The breakfast and dinner were nice and delicious. Excellent service too! I accidentally left my Bluetooth in the room after check out. Claudia managed to arrange the delivery to my overseas home, and I really appreciated her help throughout the whole process. Will definitely stay in the hotel again for my next visit to Hochgurgl.
My family has gone to Ski in Hochgurgel for over 20 years, so I have been going there since childhood. This Hotel, and specifically its Team, is the ideal place to fully enjoy a winter holiday. Even if you are not an avid enjoyer of winter sports, this will still be an amazing hotel for you. The cuisine and spa offers will be your friend if you decide to have a "stay-at-home day" during the Ski season. The High quality of service paired with the familiar and comfortable atmosphere creates an experience you will want to repeat every year.
Referring to Toni's Almhütte, not hotel. Back in 2016 till 2018 this was an amazing place to Come and have lunch during skiing days. The food was Good, service was great and friendly + sunny terrace available. It was so great I used to bring and send everybody there to have a nice lunch. In 2019 they started deleting stuff from the menu and it didn't Come back in 2020, alas. But they were still friendly and we could eat at a senna terrace. This year, 2022, I was shocked to see the treatment we received not being hotel guests. "Common" guests wanting to have lunch at the almhütte were not allowed to take place on the terrace, even though being half empty because of being reserved for hotel guests without specific details. The choice of the menu is reduced to an absolute minimum. If due to that you take a bit longer to decide they look badly to you and afterwards Once lunch arrives on the table. Plse eat it within max 10 minutes so you can make room again for there hotel guests. To conclude: where this was a nice place to have lunch and recommending it to all, I know have to stay, the quality of food still ok but as alas they take away all the other experiences from guests that add up to a great five star review I must conclude being dissapointed noticing the big differences compared to what is used to be. 3 stars for ok food what used to be great and nothing more. Sorry, I hope you change back to before or use this opportunity to reuse the Good things a d delete the bad.
