Sporthotel Romantic Plaza

Once of the best situated Hotels in the valley. All staff were extremely helpful and polite. The breakfast and dinner service was exceptional with all manner of tastes and dietary needs catered for. Full cooked breakfasts and pastries, cereals, fruit, good coffee, and no order too much trouble. Five course dinners every night with a different menu every night. Great bar and lounge area over two levels. Made use of the included spa, with pool, sauna, steam room, cool room, showers, and relaxation rooms - Just what you need after a big day on the slopes. Gym looked well presented, and even a kids rooms with games.

Great 5 days we spent during Easter. The room was very nice, restaurant was fantastic, very friendly staff and great variety every day and the cakes wow just awesome. Excellent spa and we all had a great relaxing massage after skiing and nice to have free drinks after the saunas. One off the receptionists does not speak very good English so misunderstanding few times but nothing serious. Person at the bar also very nice and two time after skiing we were offered various snacks and that was fantastic. Easter meal was amazing and adorable decorations making the night very nice and memorable. Thank you 🤩❤️🤩

The reception, bar, restaurant and spa are all worthy of 4 starts. Once you go beyond there is like gong back in time. The bedrooms are tired. The bathrooms needed refurbishment years ago. The shower cubicle handset has been cleaned so many times the spray nozzles are worn out. They dribble water anywhere but not directed at you. Cracked tiles in the bathroom. Check your bedroom door is closed as housekeeping disconnected the automatic door closer every day. They turn all the lights on, but don't change the bulbs that flash as the led is dying. And don't expect the exit from your bedroom to the stairs to be clear, even though it's a fire exit route. It will be full of housekeeping stuff, including rubbish, for hours on end. The room temperature control did not work. Our room was often 25 deg. Any attempt to cool the room by opening a window will be thwarted by housekeeping- they will shut it. Every day! On the positive side the beds are comfy and the rooms quiet. The food is tasty and plentiful, but could be served a lot hotter. Some meals were distinctly cool. Sorry but not a hotel I would go back to.
