Sporthotel Royer

Just back from an amazing week staying at the Sporthotel Royer. Excellent location, just 5 minutes walk from the Planai Lift station but there is also a shuttle bus if you don’t fancy the walk. There is a lovely pool to keep the kids occupied and a great sauna/steamroom to help those weary legs. The food was fantastic. A huge selection for breakfast and great dinners including some Gala Dinners. There is also a lovely cosy bar with a real fire to sit in. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our kids are already asking if we can come back next year. Highly recommended and we would stay there again.

This is absolutely perfect hotel. The staff in whole hotel is nice,and in restaurant on high level. Meal is very variety and tasty. With vegetarian option,or lactose free option. Also with plenty of healthy food style. Rooms are big,(for us to much heated.) All hotel is clean. There is big heated ski room and also big parking. You can use table tenis for a free,also saunas and public swimming pools. Its close to a slope,in snowboard boots its fine walk for 10minutes, for skier hotel offer ski shuttle bus ;) We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel.

I need to drive your attention to the reception manager that, with us was incredibly rude. Not sure name, blond lady that was not wearing local outfit. We had a sad situation, our kid’s skis were taken by accident by some other person, so big drama for 5 years old. After 5 days of waiting, I approached the receptionist to ask if they contacted the person (it was well known from the beginning who took them) and she had no news for me. So suddenly, her manager appeared from behind, interrupting me in many occasions, irritated, out of the line that eventually brushed me off and mutter something in her language that I could say wasn’t any nice. Really hope hotel will take some actions on the situation.
