I had a wonderful time at the hotel. The services are impeccable and the position is really perfect. The skylift starts from the hotel, they have a big underground garage, SPA, fitness and a lot of smiles all over the place. We were impressed by the services of Helene, the restaurant manager. She explained us all about the food in a funny mood, spoke splendid 6 languages and joked with all of the 28 persons at the table. She was the closest thing to perfection in touristic services I havee ever encountered. I recommend to experience this high quality service at least once
We stopped here for a light lunch on a nice sunny day. This review is just about the restaurant, not about the hotel. I had a vegetarian burger (even though I'm not vegetarian, but I was curious about the beans and pepper hamburger) and it was very tasty, so I'd definitely have it again. The lady serving our table was not too nice, maybe because none of us speaks German (?). Coffee was good.
The location, room and wellness are fine. The food is not a 4 star worthy… it isn’t fresh as the meals are not warm … rice/pasta, everything is very dry. There is no salatbar as promised and also the morning buffet as the cheese buffet could be a lot better. In other words: the food is bad! The bar at the restaurant during the day isn’t open, there are no loungers at the terrasse to enjoy the beautiful summermoments… There is nothing cosy, no where flowers…. Sad to see 😔 At last, I can say that Liviu, the bartender, is the only one to keep the standards of this hotel high - he’s truly amazing! Jill from Belgium
