Beautiful rooms with an amazing view right out the back. Huge sprawling resort different zones and prices. Bikes and boats to use around the area. Hot kettle with coffee. Desk with mirror. Couch with table. Plugs and table by both sides of the bed. Lotion and mosquito repellent. Room service from the restaurant. Good amenities. Unusual and beautiful setting and decorative touches. TV is old. Air conditioning is not adequate. Nice breakfast with a lot of variety. We early boat trip was incredible. One of the afternoon shift workers was not particularly friendly and seemed to resent our very legitimate questions. Really special place and so glad we came.

Quiet and peaceful environment away from the town area, very relaxing. The room is spacious and comfortable. Beware of ants, insects, or even monkeys sometimes due to the surrounding nature; as long as you always keep the doors closed tight, there is nothing to worry about. The resort is separated into two different zones. Zone 1 of the resort seems a bit more luxurious, with a swimming pool. Zone 2 has a restaurant with a live band. Overall, we had a great stay for one night here before heading north.

Overall our stay was okay. Overpriced for what you get. The pollution in the water and garbage is clear to see from the balcony of your “sea view” room. The hot water didn’t really work. You have to wait quite a while for the toilet to be able to flush if you use the bidet. The bathroom needs a proper thorough cleaning, there were still soap and toothpaste scum on the basin area and mirror. It is obvious a lot of thought has gone in to the set up of the property, but it is lacking an eye for detail. The beds are also uncomfortable and the mosquito net is holey so bugs come in. There are a lot of bugs. We kept getting warned about monkeys and we were excited to see them, but we didn’t even see one. Music can be heard throughout the night from a further away establishment even though the lovely music in the resort restaurant finished at about 9. The choose of performers is fantastic and the vibe is great in there. Breakfast was definitely the highlight, the kitchen ladies were lovely and helpful, there were a tonne of options and amazing traditional treat breakfast treats. Very cool.
