St Georg

Rooms were pretty antique but clean and the staff were always nice and helpful, parking and electric charging available. Has to be best breakfast on this trip. Hotel was quit and unique really enjoyed my stay.

Great stay at Zell am See with the St. Georg Hotel. The hotel is well located on the road to the Schmitten alpine complex. It is a 10 min walk to the downtown, casino, and ferry pier. There are plenty of restaurants downtown, although the bar has a great torte flambée that was great with a beer. Breakfast was really good quality, great selection of meats, cheeses, yogurt and fruits. Staff was outstanding on guiding us to the attractions. The room was of good size, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was renovated and well lit. The furniture is classic 70s Austrian style. The only downside was that there was only 1 outlet available for use in the room. Overall, it was a great experience.

We had a 3 day stay in Zell am see. The location was a quick 10 minute walk to the city center and therefore away from the crowds and noise. The hotel could use a refresh with linens and furniture but totally fit our purpose. We requested a room with a view and balcony but sadly we were on the 2nd floor with the view of the roof. The breakfast was fresh and plentiful. The stand out team member was Silvia! She was friendly and helpful. I accidentally left my raincoat hanging up in the closet and she went above the call of duty and mailed it to my last destination in Austria. I was skeptical I would recieve it but sure enough there it was. I appreciate her follow through and leaving me with a very positive experience. Way to go Silvia!
