Staff nice and friendly and helpful. Held wake here food good. Beer good as beer gets. Card machine iffy so take some cash. Rooms nice and big had most things in. Guess if you wanted anything just ask. Manger had just left business day before but staff chipped in so everything went well. No complaints. Well done. Thanks.

Generally a nice pub and lovely to have something so local with nice drinks and food (from what I've heard and had good - on the pricier side) but my goodness, the whole night was such a struggle to actually communicate with the people I went with because of the amount of children screaming, shouting and running around the pub even after 9pm. Totally ruined the vibe and evening.

We had lunch here recently and I ordered the feta and beetroot salad for £11.50. What came was a bowl of lettuce only with a few pieces of feta. When asked if meal was ok I explained the meal wasn't as advertised and had no beetroot and it was only lettuce and I couldn't eat it. She said she would ask the chef. 10 mins later she came back to say sorry the chef didn't put it on and that she would take some money off. I got £3.68 off bill. Waitress was so lovely but I wouldn't go back it was such an awful meal for a really high price.
