Stanford Hotel and Resort Jeju

Here, I personally have a higher satisfaction level with the pool villa rooms than the regular rooms. The pool in the room is a heated pool, so it is good for families to enjoy private water play. The only thing I regret compared to my previous visit is that check-in is only possible at 3 p.m., and the breakfast was so bad that I felt like there was nothing to eat because it did not match the facilities or the view of the restaurant.

The room itself was nice, but there were flies and bugs flying around in the room. Also, it was supposed to be an ocean view room, but when I looked at the view from the room I was assigned, there was a tree in front... What is this for... If it was like this, they should have marked it as a partial ocean view... Or they should have moved the tree to another place.

Staff were nonchalant to our complaints. Gave us a room with non-adjustable 30°C air conditioned on our first night. It was so hot, we opened the windows to let the cooler air in. Mosquitoes then feasted on us the whole night, itching till 3 days later. Woked up at 9am to drilling maintainance right outside our door. Are we on holiday or a construction site? We requested the air-con to be fixed but when we came back at night, temp was still the same. Had to packed and changed room in the middle of the night. No explanation given on what happened to our original room. Room amenities were the only positive feedback on the stay. Overall, for this price range is better to stay at Dain Oceano Hotel.
