I have stayed at 2 star hotels that are much cleaner and more comfortable than this. The room is spacious, the location is convenient if you’re travelling from KIX (they also have a free shuttle bus service for the airport) and the view is beautiful. BUT there were many stains on the walls of the room. The bathroom is pretty outdated. There was mold on the bottom sides of the bathtub and there were a couple of random hairs in the bathroom. The bedding was very uncomfortable and scratchy. I didn’t sleep very well. Not worth the price you have to pay for the room.
Awful hotel! Elevator made so much noise that the entire room was shaking. Toilet was making a terrific noise as well. Asked staff if I could be moved to a different room, but all they could do was offer me the same room 2 floors higher, which had exactly the same issues. They also had an unfriendly attitude about the entire situation. Aside from the noise, the hotel also looked dated. Avoid!
The noise issue is NO JOKE! We got a room next to the elevator on the 44 floor. At first I thought I was hearing airplanes passing above us to land on the airport nearby. This was by reading the previous reviews I understood it was the elevator behind our room! We tried using earplugs but it didn’t cover half of the noise it was making. We politely asked for another room at reception because we really needed to sleep properly with our long flight coming the day after. Most of the staff members were polite, but there was one woman at reception that really gave me the feeling she was pissed at us for DARING asking for another room. Well excuse me, but why do you let people paying for a room they CAN’T SLEEP IN?? The staff tried to gave us another room (the one next door basically), the noise was better but still too loud for sleeping. Two stars for the service because they tried at least a bit to help us and were polite, but really I felt like they didn’t care at all about this noise problem and didn’t even apologised for it. We had to book another hotel the same day. (Which was MUCH better) Also, I agree with the previous reviews regarding the stains and old look of the rooms. It’s ugly, outdated and really needs some renovation. Avoid this hotel!
