Star Metro Deira Hotel Apartments

I had a great experience at Star Metro Hotel! The place is clean, comfortable, and very budget-friendly—definitely a great value for the price. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a pleasant and affordable stay. The only downside was the pool timing. Officially, the pool is open from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, but when we went at 9:30 AM, we were told we had to wait until 10:00 AM because it was still being cleaned. This was disappointing, especially since some of my friends came specifically to swim. It would be better if the cleaning was completed before the pool opens to guests. Overall, still a great place and would return—just hope the pool schedule

A Nightmare Stay—Avoid at All Costs! This hotel was an absolute disaster from the moment we arrived. The entire building was permeated with a horrific stench, likely coming from the nearby fish market, making it impossible to feel comfortable. Stepping into our room only made things worse—the filthy conditions were unacceptable. The furniture was layered with thick black dust, showing a complete lack of maintenance. There were no basic essentials like tissues, and even towels had to be specially requested, as if they were some luxury item. To make matters worse, the hotel charged us for an extra bed, which we needed for a child, further proving their disregard for proper customer service. The parking, though available, was in a rundown and poorly maintained area, raising concerns about safety—we feared damage to our vehicle throughout the stay. After enduring one dreadful night, we had no choice but to leave and book another hotel. Despite informing the reception of all the issues, they refused to offer any refund, forcing us to pay for three nights we would never use. This lack of accountability and customer care is unacceptable. Booking.com should seriously reconsider listing this hotel—it fails in every possible aspect, from hygiene to service. I strongly recommend avoiding this place at all costs!

Staffs are very rude including the manager (Ruben?). Ts & Cs in this hotel are just implied when the staffs just think to do it. No standard. They said visitors are allowed until before 10pm. and yet they didn't allowed 4 friends to visit. No. considerations at all. Not recommended. they said, no parties allowed but in some guests they even allowed.
