A Refreshing Experience in Rameswaram – My Go-To Hotel Since 2022 I've been a regular visitor to Rameswaram since 2002. For many years, I stayed at the Dawik group of hotels and was fairly satisfied with their hospitality and food — until around 2018. Sadly, over the next couple of years, I witnessed a steep decline in their food quality. Despite giving feedback both in person and online, nothing really improved. The food eventually became unpalatable, prompting me to explore alternatives. In 2022, during one of my visits, I happened to walk into Hotel Star Palace, located right next to Dawik. I initially went just for lunch, but that one meal changed everything. The food was not only delicious but also hygienic, well-presented, and served in a clean, pleasant ambience. The difference was stark and refreshing. Since that visit, Star Palace has become my default choice for every stay in Rameswaram. What truly makes this hotel stand out is not just the food but the warmth and professionalism of its staff. During my recent stay in August 2025, I had the pleasure of interacting with Arman, Arpita, Neervati, and Kesavan — each one of them incredibly courteous, down-to-earth, and genuinely supportive. Their hospitality made me feel at home. If you're planning a visit to Rameswaram and value cleanliness, food quality, and a welcoming atmosphere, I strongly recommend Hotel Star Palace. It’s a place where customer care is not just a formality — it’s a part of their culture.

This is one of the top hotels to stay in Rameshwaram. It’s located on the main road with ample car parking and easy access to all the main attractions. There are 2 types of rooms - executive room (150 sq ft) and executive suit (500 sq ft). Rooms are neat and clean and their service is quite good. Every single food item that we ordered was good and delicious. The only draw back is the food menu is very limited. For lunch tandoori items are not available and for dinner tawa items are not available. Idli dosai is available only for breakfast. I wish they had South Indian tiffin items for dinner too

I am writing to express my satisfaction with my recent stay at your hotel. Overall, it was a good, I was particularly impressed by the service at your restaurant. My family and I are pure vegetarians and do not consume onion or garlic. Armaan, one of your restaurant staff members, was exceptionally helpful. He went above and beyond to ensure that we had suitable options from the menu, which made our breakfast experience very pleasant. His attentiveness and understanding of our dietary needs were outstanding. Thank you for a great stay.
