Starfish Cayo Santa Maria

Great resort, very friendly staff. The beach is one of the best in the world. They throw good parties at night. Let's hope more people come to this resort going forward.

Ive been to Cuba a few times and loved every single time, but I have to say my stay at this resort was a 10/10 experience. We stayed here for New Years and it was an amazing time. Our room was always very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Keilys the lady who cleaned our room, was so sweet and caring and always went above and beyond to make sure our room was comfortable and clean. The buffet staff were always so sweet and always greeted us with smiles and always made sure we had somewhere nice to sit and that our drinks were never empty. The entertainment team was by far my favourite part of the trip. They were the sweetest and most welcoming people. They always had so much energy and always made each and every day so fun. Ian from the entertainment team was so welcoming and had the best energy and vibes. He was always getting us involved in activities and always made me feel comfortable. Overall, I had a really good experience at the hotel and look forward to when I get to go again. :)

The food was bland and repetitive. Too much cabbage. The flies were out of control and the birds sharing the meals were too much ! No entertainment to speak of. The worst thing is to advertise the hotel as being new but in reality it is old and rundown. The beaches are lovely and the people tried very hard to provide the little they had.
