Great find in an engaging town. Corowa has some interesting history and we found the Statesman to be a very comfortable base to explore the place. Our room was very clean and well appointed. The bed was extremely comfortable and warm! Thanks Josie for turning on the electric blanket prior to our arrival. Loved the ample supply of hot water in the shower too! Very happy to recommend.
Big thanks to Josie who allowed me to check in at 8 am after driving all night. The rooms are a little dated but kept in extremely good condition. The place was spotless and the bed was so good!! Comfortable with fresh crispy linen. Nice clean bathroom too and a comfortable couch. Thanks again Josie for your hospitality.
It's an older style motel, bit dated but you aren't living here so it shouldn't matter. We had a double bed room, great size with plenty of space, comfortable bed & couch and plenty of storage/bag space, microwave with jug of course. Good size shower and great pressure. Motel has a decent swimming pool and BBQ area with nice gardens. Receptionist was lovely but over worked as the new owner won't employ cleaning / laundry staff. The rooms were clean and everything was maintained as best as possible. The owner wants to open the rooms up for emergency housing so if this happens standards will drop. Ring and check ahead
