Excellent pace to stay. Staff couldn't have been more helpful, really comfy room, tasty evening meal and perfect poached eggs for breakfast. They stored our bikes in the restaurant overnight.
Good value, generous portions. Quiet as the Edinburgh Derby was being shown in a nearby pub. That suited us both.
A great place to stay with on street parking nearby. Handy for the Abbey and shops. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The restaurant was amazing value. Good quality and well cooked food. Had a couple of drinks in the bar and had great banter with some locals. Breakfast was equally good. I will certainly come back. My only very small criticism is that the room decor was starting to get a bit tired. It was, however clean and comfortable . Nothing that a lick of paint wont fix.
