Station Motel Parkes

Station yourself here! I had a last minute booking on my way from Melbourne, the lady on reception was bloody lovely & organised a room for myself and two small children. We checked in late that night & the room didn’t disappoint, super super clean, the shower was absolutely amazing, bed was very comfortable & the complimentary water bottles were a great bonus. Upon checking out I was greeted by two fantastic staff members. We will be back in a few months but will arrive in time for dinner. Thanks so much.

Here's an unusual review. I've been a review journalist for years, among other professions. Google is a good source of information. So, read this... A week or two past, my wife and I were in Parkes as part of an east state car tour when quite by accident we turned into the driveway of the Station Motel. Also, quite by accident we ran into the motel light post making lots of noise but little damage. Within moments Tracey & Terry (the Motel managers), one ex-Army and one ex-Nurse, raced to our assistance, gave us comfort and friendship. Now here's the moral, I've travelled the world and Australia extensively over seventy years and never have I experienced this kind of personal support for my welfare from complete strangers. Obviously, this translates into what you can expect when you are looking for accommodation in Parkes NSW. Put the Station Motel (Parkes) on the very top of your bucket list. If nothing else else, you will be safe and happy. Guaranteed.

Perfect for us. Was a halfway point on our travels. Bed was comfortable, room was clean as was bathroom.
