Stay at Penny's Mill

We had a superb stay here for our wedding anniversary! Rosie and Bill were incredible hosts, just the right level of friendly involvement and guidance for good places to go and giving us space just to relax and unwind. Penny's room, where we stayed, was really nice with a large ensuite, thick towels and great toiletries. Rosie is a superb chef and cooked us some stunning full English breakfasts each morning and the garden, complete with river was beautiful, e spent a whole afternoon enjoying it. The attention to detail in everything was so appreciated and though we rarely visit the same place mutliple times, when you find somewhere like this, it'll be very hard not to! Thank you Rosie and Bill for a great stay!

The location in the heart of Nunney village is perfect for sightseeing. The gardens surrounding the historic Mill are picturesque and laid out along the banks of a stream. We stayed in the "green room" which looks over the garden and a wooded dell is bathed in light. It is a peaceful location which refreshes the mind. Breakfast in the conservatory offers a choice of traditional cooked English breakfast, cereals and fruit and with home made bread and jam. Great value for money and an ideal location.

Beautiful place, lovely room (with an excellent, cosy bed,) wonderful breakfast (homemade bread, baked by Rosie,) stunning big conservatory where you have breakfast, excellent views, fabulous location, warm, friendly, knowledgeable hosts Rosie and Bill. Highly recommend it, will definitely come back!
