Some caveat -- we realized we got rooms in this building after we booked through the Hotel Condotti. Now, we would have been really upset if we were to arrive at where we though we had originally booked, Hotel Condotti, and had to move here. But since we were prepared, we were fine with it. We had connecting rooms, which was just enough for a family of 5 (2 adults, 2 teens, 1 6yo). This would be tight for a family of 6. Our room was facing Via Condotti which could be a bit noisy for some but we did not mind. Fyi, the showers were tiny. Some other info -- daily room cleaning service, no concierge/reception (they send over staff to meet you to checkin), very small elevator (can fit maybe 1 person and 2 pcs of luggage). Location was pretty good for me. Just note that if you are in a large group and travelling by bus, the location of this hotel does not allow buses so you will be dropped off about 300-500meters from this hotel and you would need to walk to it.
Great location ... just not really a hotel as such as no reception or concierge so was a bit confusing on arrival. Tiny elevator made getting luggage up and down from room a challenge. The Bellboy was a wonderful help and really friendly which made up for things. Rooms were reasonably good size, modern and clean.
I actually thought this hotel was pretty average. The reviews always surprise me but I guess it is a matter of opinion. The rooms are small, showers are even smaller (bright side is no shower curtain) and the concierge is only available from 7.30am until 3pm. And sometimes not even there at that time.. check in after 3 pm is all manual and you have to put codes in to get your keys from a safe etc. Rooms are very dark with little lighting at night (okay during the day when windows and blinds are open). Rooms were modern looking and mostly clean. Could be cleaner as far as the floor goes but at least it wasn't carpet I guess. Security was one good aspect. Code to get into the building and then you had to swipe a card to get into the corridor where your room was in addition to inserting your card to open your room's door. Plus a safe in the room. The positive about this place is the amazing location. Central to mostly everything and anything you want to do in Rome and great shopping on your doorstep. I wish I had taken more photos to post but completely forgot about it!
