Staybridge Suites Dubai Al Maktoum Airport by IHG

I stayed here for about 1.5 months and really enjoyed my time. The hotel is comfortable and well-managed. The main reason I’m writing this review is because of three amazing staff members. Ahmed and Talha at the reception went above and beyond their duties, they were always friendly, warm, and genuinely helpful. And Vidura from the restaurant team made every morning better with his smile and great conversations. Their hospitality and kindness made me feel like I had friends here, not just staff doing their job. Truly appreciate it!

The man at the front desk was incredibly rude and dismissive. When I asked for a glass from the designated area, he told me there were none. But just a minute later, he gave one to another guest who seemed to know him. I couldn’t believe it. Even worse, I was clearly next in line, and instead of helping me, he completely ignored me and served the person behind me as if I wasn’t even there. This kind of behavior felt discriminatory and made me extremely uncomfortable. It gave the impression that he treats people differently based on who they are. The receptionist I’m referring to appears to be of Indian descent, short, and has a noticeable mole on his face. If you care about being treated with basic respect and fairness, I would avoid this place.

I must change the review because the service changed completely, in a bad way Okay Hotel in Dubai Only problems are: The staff which is not always kind. The laundry machine. We only have 3 machines because the others are broken. This is not sufficient at all. If I come 1 minute late for machine someone takes my clothes out and puts them somewhere. 2 times someone took my clothes (all my clothes) and I had to call the security to check the CCTV. After 24 hours I got my clothes back. The people always forget their clothes and let them for 30-40 minutes After the machine is finished Inside even though people are waiting. The staff doesn’t care at all. Ahmed too My stay was excellent. The rooms were clean and modern, the bed firm but comfortable – just the way I like it. The breakfast was varied and delicious, and the restaurant had a relaxed, open atmosphere. What really stood out, though, was the service. From the moment I arrived, Ahmed at the reception made everything easy. Ahmed was extremely kind, professional, and helpful throughout my stay. He always greeted me with a smile and went out of his way to assist. It’s rare to find someone as genuinely caring and efficient as Ahmed – he truly made a difference in my experience. Highly recommended, especially thanks to the warm welcome and support from Ahmed!
