Steigenberger Hotel & Spa Bad Pyrmont

Rooms are comfortable and very clean, just the furniture looks a bit dated, just with new upholstery. The wooden wardrobes are huge and fine but look like they have been there since the start. Breakfast was great with fresh fruit and vegetable juice options that you make yourself which I haven't seen elsewhere and loved. The pool is a good size and there is a steam room, they supply salts for a body peeling, there are also 3 saunas and loads of lounges to rest on. The Whirlpool was nit in operation sadly. The cafe staff are a bit hopeless, disappearing for long periods of time do despite waiting at least 15 minutes, I didn't manage to get a tea and some cake, although the variety looked good. The reception staff didn't do anything to help find the person, even after asking, which was a bit disappointing. There are loads of other restaurants and cafes really close by, so I just went elsewhere to eat and drink, although I had looked forward to staying in house mostly.

We reserved a room with one king bed. But after the check-in they couldn’t prepare room with the king bed. Instead they gave us the room with 2 single beds which they brought together.

We booked early. We asked for confirmation that the Hotel is available during the time of renovation. This was confirmed. Then on short notice the Hotel room was canceled. We traveled to Bad Kissingen instead. Now our new favourite destination. Before we were traveling for many years to Bad Pyrmont.
