Steigenberger Inselhotel

We stayed at the hotel as a group of 16 people, including small children — and we all absolutely loved it. The location is just perfect, right on the lake, with breathtaking views you never get tired of. Breakfast was excellent — lots of fresh, tasty options, and the chance to enjoy it while looking out over the water made it even better. The staff were incredibly kind, patient (especially with the kids!), and made us feel welcome throughout our stay. Truly a memorable experience. We’d happily come back again.

Lovely rooms and views, the showers were so powerful and all the fittings are modern and convenient. Wonderful place.

This beautiful hotel was a short walk from the railway station. It is on its own little island but a great location to the old town and to go over the bridge to great restaurants and shopping etc. we had to wait till 3 to check in but could leave our bags and they had taken them to the room. We paid €273.50 per night including breakfast. We had a courtyard view as the water view is only with the deluxe suites. The staff were all polite and friendly. The room was spacious, practical and a lovely bathroom with a bath! The terrace is stunning on lake Constance and a great place for breakfast. The breakfast was amazing too. They cooked eggs and omelette to your liking and so much other food to choose from. We had a checkout of 12 so could leave our room and head to the train station without rushing or having to cart our bags around. I highly recommend this hotel. It’s very romantic and has a lot of history as it was a monastery in the 1100’s
