Stella Rocca a Mare

From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by Stavroula, the hotel director. We got there in the middle of the day when it was extremely hot, and she made sure our room was ready and welcoming—with a chilled bottle of champagne waiting for us. It was such a thoughtful touch that set the tone for our stay. She was incredibly friendly and hospitable, making sure we were well taken care of the entire time. The staff went above and beyond to make everything effortless for us. We booked a Catamaran tour through the hotel, and Eridona took care of all the details, making sure we were fully prepared and ready to go. Everything was seamless. The hotel sits at the top of the Caldera, offering absolutely breathtaking views of the iconic whitewashed buildings and the stunning Aegean Sea. We enjoyed both breakfast and lunch on-site—easily the best view in all of Santorini. Although this is a luxury hotel, the personalized service made it feel ten times more special. Every staff member we encountered was kind, welcoming, and attentive. If you’re looking for a quiet, tranquil place with unforgettable views and exceptional service, this hotel is a perfect choice. Highly recommended!

Fantastic hotel across all categories. The rooms have arguably the best view in Santorini, while also being close enough to walk to Fira. The room had its own little pool which we used more than I would have thought. The hotel staff was kind and hip, and got us the BEST sunset seat at a delicious restaurant just 4 minutes away. The concierge service is a huge leg-up and I highly advise you take advantage of this amenity. Will for sure stay here again! Pro tip-rent a buggy for getting around the island. This is easier than getting cabs and there are rentals right in the vicinity.

This is a beautiful place to stay, with lovely staff and wonderful food and drinks. It’s located on a cliff with a 180 deg views of Santorini. It is clean and well maintained. Each employee felt truly invested that our stay and accommodations were above average. If we find ourselves in Santorini again, Stella Rocca will be our first choice to rest.
