Stepping Stones

We had a totally relaxing holiday. When we arrived, it was easy to get in even though we had only booked that morning. It was clean and homely. I loved the blankets around the home. It is a quiet and polite place. People were polite. The hot tub was great, just what we needed. My dog enjoyed her long walks. i can honestly say we will book again. Bager retreat is gorgeous. It's not far from the shops it's definitely a friendly place. Thanks

We stayed at hidden gem, beautiful lodge best amount if storage in any lodge we have been to, site is lovely and yes you need s car but plenty of places to visit, biggest surprise was Darlington which was really nice and hopetown was great

Absolutely awful 😔 I couldn't believe it when booking.com contacted me telling me that the owner had contacted them telling them that we had left it dirty. Even though we always bring our Dyson v15 as well as a portable spot washer when we are on holiday in the UK. I am appealing it with booking.com because we always clean up after our selves and not just that we've gone on multiple holidays and this is the 1st and only one that has made false claims. Not just that 2 rooms were blocked off and they didn't make there false report until 4 days after our departure. I will obviously be posting proof on here if my vacuum cleaner that got taken and put on my Facebook page. Time and dated so people can see what lies this owner GARY has claimed. With this people can also see how dirty it was when we arrived. I know this place is struggling because there are notices on the walls to say about not leaving lights and heating on. So this is clearly the owner trying to get money out of us. Well good luck to you mate I've contacted booking.com as well as my bank. I WOULD AVOID THIS altogether it's clearly a scam to get money off of people. I'm also contacting other third party companies. To make them aware of this because it's got to be happening to others.
