Stewart Inn

This was my ideal of a 5 star bnb. Great rooms, exactly as described, wonderful host, gourmet standard of breakfast. House was awesome. As mentioned in previous post, breakfast was leisurely starting at 8:30. Host accommodates business guests with earlier needs if arranged in advance. Super quiet during sleeping hours, even in room facing street. Host had great recommendations for local restaurants and for our next stop in Madison. Room 3 was a very spacious room. It was too warm to take advantage of the fireplace and steam shower. I was happy I travel with an eye mask since I have trouble sleeping unless it is dark. Venetian blinds in the windows.

Randy made our stay at the Stewart Inn truly memorable. He is a gracious host and a superb cook! The room was spacious and comfortable, and the rest of the house was gorgeous. The first floor has huge rooms with curved woodwork and lovely decorations. Our three-course breakfast was delicious, too. Highly recommended!

Really nice old home. The room was large and comfortable. The shower was not to my liking. It was a one piece unit with a slick floor and lots of shelves sticking out to bump into. Breakfast was served as 3 courses but took over an hour. It's offered at one seating which was at 830 and you get what the host decides to make. In our case lots of dietary restrictions meant it was juice, smoothy, and oatmeal. Kudos for accommodating guests, but it was not satisfying.
