Our wedding at Steynshoop was nothing short of magical! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the breathtaking scenery—nestled in the mountains, it felt like something out of a fairy tale. The venue itself is absolutely stunning, offering the perfect blend of elegance and natural beauty. A massive thank you to Pieter, who went above and beyond to assist us throughout the planning process. No matter how many questions I had (and I had plenty!), he was always kind, patient, and incredibly helpful. His guidance and support made everything so much easier. And then there’s Hanneli, the heart and soul of making our wedding day perfect. As the coordinator, she ensured every little detail was flawless, and thanks to her, we didn’t have to worry about a thing. Her warm, professional, and calm approach made all the difference, and we are so grateful for her dedication. And her food—WOW! When I say it was the best wedding food I have ever had, I mean it! Every bite was a delight, full of rich, delicious flavors—actually lekker! Our guests are still raving about how incredible the food was. The accommodation was just as exceptional—beautifully maintained, comfortable, and perfect for our guests to relax and enjoy the full experience. And, of course, waking up to those mountain views was an absolute dream. If you need a tranquil place to recharge,this is definitely a place for you. Pieter and Rosina were great hosts, very professional and efficient. The house is well maintained and everything about it looks stunning. Thank you very much Pieter and Rosina for hosting us and we'll definitely come back again.

We held our wedding there in December 2024 and it was truly phenomenal. The venue is stunning and very well maintained. We decided on a weekend wedding which commenced on the Friday. Our guests were very well taken care of and loved their rooms. The Friday night braai buffet was absolutely delicious, where most of our guests went back for seconds and some for thirds. Everyone enjoyed the swimming pool until early in the morning on both nights. The breakfast buffets was just as delicious, and for someone that doesn't like scrambled eggs, this was truly appetizing. We were able to choose from a selection of spit braai options for the wedding night. All food, especially the pumpkin fritters, was fantastic. Hanneli, the in-house coordinator, was definitely on top of everything. She made sure that our celiac disease family members were well taken care of. Despite us using a different décor agent - who completely failed us - Hanneli stayed up till past midnight to help us fix the décor and even jumped to obtain new flowers the next morning. The owner was always present, ensuring that everything was running smoothly. He was also always ready to help in any way possible. The venue and its people are one of a kind.
