Stoa Suites Chania

A great place to stay in Chania Center. The room was big enough, with huge bed and two sofas. With all the amenities of a hotel, our room was super clean, spotless i would say. Mr Yannis, was very helpful during our booking, providing info and suggestions. 100 % would seek to stay there, if i visit Chania again.

Big modern rooms, comfy large beds, air conditioning, plentiful hot water, 1 minute walk to old town, quiet, reasonable price. Pictures match what you are getting which is a pleasant surprise for Greece. The only downside is no parking but I was able to park on the street outside every night during low season. I would gladly stay here again.

If you have trouble sleeping in a sauna, do not stay at this place. The rooms are equipped with an air conditioning that only works when all doors and all windows are closed. Apparently, it must be all doors and windows of the whole city, because keeping ours closed doesn’t make a single difference. If you magically managed to make it work, don’t you dare using the toilet! If you open the bathroom door it will stop working, but closing it won’t make it start again. Sleeping with the windows open is not an option because the apartment is located on a busy street. You will have to choose between the noise or the heat. I notified the owner of this issue on the first night, he claimed that it was fixed. However, after three sleepless nights, the problem persists.
