Tender Restaurant booked for birthday celebration. Had a wonderfully dining experience. Excellent sommelier Rafael and Byron, maitre'd Guillam and Daphne. Lee busy with 1 assistant in the kitchen. Amazing Palmer champagne. We loved the quality of the nocella olives, sourdough with butter and honey. Followed by oysters and ox cheek croquette. Main we shared a beautiful chateaubriand and very reasonably priced. Finally match cheesecake paired with a wonderful dessert ice wine. Glad we walked back to our hotel. Just such good service and attentiveness. Thank you

We stayed in this hotel for two nights. The staff were friendly, rooms clean and the location of the hotel is great. It's in central Manchester and there were many things to do within walking distance. The hotel does not have a gym but it does collaborate with a nearby fully equipped gym. We showed the receptionist our hotel cards and we were let in. It's less than a two minute walk from the hotel. The room was modern but a bit cramped. The room doors slam automatically so you can hear when the other doors of the other rooms open and shut. We got woken up a couple of times at night because of this.

Excellent hotel in a spectacularly remodeled historic building. ALL staff were fantastic, and a real beautiful introduction to Manchester hospitality. Creative cocktails in the bar, fresh and hot food as well. My ONLY complaint is the location...it's surrounded by taller buildings and there is NO view, but the exterior walls of those across the street... Bon Voyage!
