We got married on the 14th of June 2025 and we couldn’t have been more happier! From the open days right up until the wedding every detail was attended to by our lovely wedding coordinator Tracey who was beyond helpful throughout! The service, food quality and quantity was amazing no one went without. We had numerous guests telling us how perfect it all was and how lovely the food was. Everything was set up perfect exactly how we wanted our dream wedding, nothing was too much from the staff. We had a lovely surprise in the bridal suite of champagne and chocolates which was a beautiful touch, rooms were stunning amazing view of the grounds. Highly recommend and will be definitely coming back to visit. Thank you again to Tracey for making our dream wedding so perfect and to all the staff for their above and beyond attitude.

I was there on Sunday 25th July for a friend's lunchtime birthday celebration. The staff were brilliant and a special mention to Sylverster,; superb bartender, calm under pressure and a fantastic cocktail maker! The function rooms are charming within beautiful grounds and lake. Sadly no pictures as was having too much fun! Definitely recommend if you are within the area.

This is the second time I've stayed here. The lake is beautiful and one can walk around it and spend time by the lake all day if the weather is good. I stayed in a Junior Suite which is massive and overlooks the Capability Brown lake. Unfortunately, my pictures are too large to post apparently. Now, this place is a bit run down. The furniture is shabby and amenities are basic. Lots of bits and pieces you could pull apart. It would get a serious grilling if it was on Hotel Inspector or 4 In A Bed. However, I wasn't fussed. I know the place and have always loved the house and grounds. It is nice and private too. I've given it a 4 rating, which is a bit too generous considering the hotels I've stayed at in Asia. I played in the grounds of this Manor since a boy so I have a soft spot for it. The staff are helpful, friendly and not in your face. They'll upgrade you too if you ask nicely. My gigantic room was £129 and I booked direct. I had the same room last time and paid £80 & was upgraded. It's a lovely house and grounds with friendly, discrete staff.
