Stone Cottages

A fantastic place! We have always considered the hills above Jerusalem Beach to be the best place to view the rugged west coast of Kefalonia and enjoy a beautiful sunset. Aloni Cottages provide the perfect setting for a quiet holiday retreat - set within old ruins, the rooms are perfectly equipped and have a modest traditional touch, a very well maintained garden and a lovely pool for those who like to relax. Konstantinos is a lovely host who will treat you with care and hospitality, he is just great and will help with anything you need. We were two families with children and everyone had a great time together. We would love to return to Aloni the next time we visit Kefalonia.

Situated in a small village between Assos and Fiscardo. It is so tranquil. Perfect place to escape the crowds. There are four cottages here almost in a semi circle surrounding the pool which overlooks the sea. We stayed in Elia, a semi detached cottage. Decent size with a kitchen area and separate bathroom. No oven though but there is a two ring hob, kettle, toaster, coffee machine. Plenty of crockery and cutlery. A larger veranda and gardens overlooking the pool. It was beautiful. The cottages only sleep two people so you dont really see many people by the pool. We had the pool most late afternoons to ourselves! The owner is usually around in a morning to water the plants. He was so accommodating. He also runs the local restaurant a few hundred meters away, so we visited a few times and it was the best meal we had the whole holiday. We will miss the little slice of paradise!

Great location, with beautiful view to the sunset, close to several wild beaches, 10 min drive to the photogenic village of Fiskardo. Mr. Konstantinos and his family are very pleasant hosts, nature lovers. I strongly recommend Aloni cottage for relaxing holidays.
