Exceptional! We had a lovely ground floor room with a conservatory. Overlooking fields of sheep. Nothing is too much trouble here. The crew are so helpful & friendly. Breakfasts are superb. Dinners are nice although only a set menu with a few options. Extremely dog friendly too. Pedicured gardens with lots of wild rabbits. I highly recommend.

The Stone House provided us with everything for a perfect stay. The genuinely warm and attentive staff really made us feel genuinely welcome and cared for. They also gave valuable information on lovely things to do and see. The rooms were beautifully decorated and felt cosy and warm. The use of wool and natural textiles in the soft furnishings, blinds and curtains was so rare to see. The house sits in the most beautiful natural countryside. Here you are welcome to walk through fields which made our time there so enjoyable and memorable. The cleanliness was faultless which is so important to me when on vacation. We are certainly looking forward to visiting again. Thank you to everyone there for making our trip one to remember and thoroughly enjoyable.
