Stony Creek Cottages

We loved our stay here, Louise really went well above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and looked after. The cottage is beautifully furnished and cosy, private and lovely surroundings, donkeys were of course a highlight. Thank you Louise for making our stay truly memorable, we so appreciate it and will be back again in future!

The single best holiday I've ever had was honeymooning at Stony Creek Cottages. The owners were absolutely wonderful and went above and beyond to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. We were the first to spend any real time with their second miniature donkey (yes, they have two and they are both adorable). Coming from a busy couple of months to a holiday where you can hang out with a tiny donkey with a HUGE personality is, in and of itself, a reason to recommend Stony Creek. But honestly it's an experience I'll keep with me and you need to experience for yourself. Cannot recommend enough.

We loved our stay here. Louise greeted us upon arrival and was really lovely. She had the fire going and the cottage was just gorgeous. Beautifully styled, so warm and cosy. This truly was a great place to stay, very private and had everything you need. From gorgeous blankets, bedding and spa, right through to delicious snacks anc ice cream in the fridge. A private deck for sitting outside exiting straight off the bedroom was very nice. There is a cute little kitty who pops up every now and again to say hello. I highly recommend this place if you are considering a stay in the area. I couldn't fault it.
