Store Ringheim Hotell og Restaurant

We recently enjoyed a two night stay at Store Ringheim, in the family attic suite. It is a small country hotel and restaurant about a 25 minute walk to Voss village (downhill, but longer on the way back!), which suited us well. When needed, there was also a very helpful shuttle van service. We had breakfasts and dinners there. Everything about our stay there was perfect - the room, the food, the service, the friendly staff, the grounds, the scenery and overall value for money.

This is a wonderful wooden small hotel with a restaurant. Food is produced often from scratch. It is a 10th generation farm just above Voss. Very quiet with 15 rooms. There is a minivan service fish to town. A lovely garden. Owned by a husband and wife team. The couple also cook the evening meal which was fabulous.

We stayed here and it is peaceful and sublime! The rooms are beautifully thought through and considered, with lovely touches of luxury like the Occitane toiletries. The views are amazing as it is high on the hill looking over Voss and the owners offer a collection service from Voss station as a benefit! Although you can also walk there of course - it will take around 20 mins (uphill) but totally worth it. The food at breakfast was lovely and the hospitality also fabulous. Would highly recommend!
