Stormy Point Village Resort

We just got home from our stay here and we enjoyed our accommodations. The cottage was spacious for the 8 people in our group. We loved the balcony and the full kitchen was nice and helped us save money on meals. We were about 15 minutes from HWY 76. The pools were nice - we liked that there was several to choose from. We did have to call for service twice on our garbage disposal because they forgot to come, but that was the only issue we encountered. We would stay here again as it is great for larger families/groups.

Stayed first week of August, 2025. Almost canceled because of recent bad reviews, but couldn't find anything better at last minute so we kept our reservation. 4 kids aged 5-15, all had fun. Cottage we were in wasn't brand new, but was clean. Water slide was open the 2 times we went, pool was fun. Service at restaurant/bar wasn't great unless you ate inside or went directly to bar (mom/daughter bartenders were great), but food was good and they had live music the two nights we went. I thought property was a good value, good place for base camp while we were in Branson. Property is aging, but better than recent reviews made it sound.

Upon arrival I felt like we were being held hostage to get our vehicals parking permit. They wanted to solicit us a time share and made me feel like crap telling me they could have saved me half if I would of just called them!! Lies!! I booked thru expedia. The cottage was decent, but needs a deep cleaning. The air vents were caked in dust, there were bloody boogers smeared on the ceiling, which we told them when they called an hour after we check in to solicit us again. The outside of the unit needs paint, updated landscaping and pest control. Rat turds on the balcony, 3 wasp nest above the balcony and spiders galore. The pool was nasty, there were bugs and paint chips floating around the main pool, the hot tub jets didn't work, and they never opened the slide the 4 days we were there due to lack of help. Its a long ways away from any activity and there literally no view u less you like looking at your neighbors. Branson is such a beautiful location, they definitely failed on there set up. Our family was very disappointed. I will never return or sign up for there "timeshares".
