Storrs Hall Hotel on the shore of Lake Windermere

Staff were very attentive and friendly. Also accommodating to special dietary requirements when ordering room service. We stayed in the Swan Suite. Hot tub amazing, room facilities were flawless. View from terrace was amazing. Will def be going back.

We had a wonderful few days at Storrs. Our beautiful room overlooked Lake Windermere with comfortable chairs placed in the bay window. The staff were all superb so much so that it’s difficult to name anyone who was exceptional as they all were - obviously good training. We had breakfast in the conservatory every morning again overlooking the lake. Just perfect. The menu was varied so lots to choose from. We decided to eat in the hotel each night and were not disappointed. The quality and presentation all excellent. We were very sad to leave.

My wife and I spent an anniversary weekend here. We loved everything. The grounds and hotel itself are beautiful. Even fully booked, the hotel felt empty. We had a lake view room. It was spacious and quiet and comfortable. The coffee in the room were real Nespresso pods. The restaurant meal was delicious. And the staff are so helpful and friendly. The exterior of the hotel is slowly being refreshed as areas are certainly showing wear, but the ongoing work is hardly intrusive.
