Stowaway Kangaroo Island

We stayed in The Snug for my 50th birthday. The location is beautiful, and very private. The Snug is absolutely lovely and set up for a luxurious stay. We had ordered multiple food pack, which were all set up for us, and a loaf of fresh bread baking in the bread maker made the place smell absolutely amazing as we came in. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a perfect weekend away.

Luxury at the end of the world. I stayed at The Snug rental at Stowaway in May 2025 and was in heaven. The property was so beautifully appointed: the bed incredibly comfortable, the giant soaking tub, the sauna, the wood burning stove, the list goes on. Kangaroo island is such a special place and Carly does an amazing job. I loved the privacy of The Snug location, enjoying gorgeous bush views from all sides. There is virtually no light pollution so you can see the stars clearly at night. I saw 5 shooting stars in one hour! After an exciting day hiking the island and seeing the gorgeous national parks, I found myself excited to get back each night so I could fully enjoy the property. My only regret is not booking a longer vacation at Stowaway. ❤️

What an absolutely beautiful place. We just loved "The Nest". We arrived to freshly baked bread, champagne and delicious local cheese and nibbles. The location is a great place to explore that part of Kanagroo Island (Stokes Bay is beautiful), and returning to a spa and sauna after our travels was a real treat. The weather was too hot for a fire (unfortunately) so we indulged ourselves in the spa with champagne and watched the kangaroos as the sun set. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom enormous and the kitchen equipped with everything you could possibly need. We barbequed on the deck - absolute bliss. We will recommend to friends and would definitely stay again.
