Stowhouse Farm Cottages

Self catering cottage that is in a beautiful , quiet ,area nearest neighbours we've seen are sheep although there are 2 other cottages for rent here . 2 single beds ,1 king-size, 1 double lovely comfortable mattress in all rooms . Nice thick towels , plenty of saucepans etc if you like cooking while here . Coffee ,teabags etc supplied along with salt ,pepper ,ketchup, brown sauce .fridge in kitchen & table that seats 6 . The whole house was spotless . I am hoping to come here again later this year . One piece of advice don't put postcode in satnav put stowhill farm cottages or like us you'll end up at an actual farm not the cottages .

Beautiful location, fabulous cottage, brilliant host.

We booked a cottage here for a New Years Eve getaway for a couple days. It was truly amazing and so relaxing, scenery and views were amazing. The cottage was very clean and nice with amenities. Very good location if you want to escape city life. (20 minutes from Durham, 40 from Newcastle) Rachel and Craig were very friendly and accommodating, we definitely will be returning in the future. Thank you!!
