Stradey Park Hotel

Fantastic stay at this welcoming Hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful, nothing too much trouble and felt welcomed. Rooms are super clean and comfortable! Highly recommended if you're looking for accommodation in the area.!

Large efficient and clean hotel, staffed by very friendly staff. Rooms were adequately sized and ours had views over the town and estuary. Only downsides to our visit was that the lift was out of action during our four-day stay and there was quite a big step down out of our bath/ shower, an issue if you have knee or mobility problems, also parking is tight when the hotel is full, with no guarantee of a space right outside the hotel and having to park at the bottom car park and walk up if not. Large dining area supplied plentiful self-service breakfasts.

Not as upmarket as it presents itself as. I booked after seeing the booking.com pics of amazing rooms and stylish bathrooms, but those pics do not represent the quality of what we actually had. Our room itself was fine, although we we a little taken aback by the graffiti on the desk! The bathroom though left a lot to be desired: The modern walk in shower shown in the pictures was replaced with a downright grotty 80s bathroom, with a shower over a bath that was uncomfortably high to step into. If I hadn't seen the picss they showed, I may have been satisfied, but instead I was disappointed.
